2Swans has won a contract to assist a team within the DTI to appoint a provider who will manage the Energy Efficient Motorsport programme being developed under the Motorsport Development UK initiative. |
| |
Motorsport Development UK is the partnership responsible for implementing a five year investment in British motorsport. Funding for the programme comes directly from the DTI and four regional development agencies.
Part of the programme is to promote Energy Efficient Motorsport by encouraging the development of alternative fuels and powertrain technologies and put energy efficiency at the heart of modern Motorsport without comprising the sporting spectacle.
2Swans will be assisting Motorsport Development UK to find a provider to manage the Energy Efficient Motorsport through an open tendering process. This process will conform to EU regulations for public procurement.
The timeframe for 2Swans to deliver this project is estimated to be 6 months.
